Ashton Stewart, LLC has developed a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) on how we will respond to events that disrupt our business. Since the timing and impact of the disasters is unpredictable, we will have to be flexible in responding to events as they unfold. We are providing you with this information on our BCP.
We plan to recover and resume business operations as quickly as possible by safeguarding our employees and property, and protecting the firm’s books and records. Our BCP is designed to allow our firm to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the business disruption.
This plan addresses: data back up and recovery, all mission critical systems, alternative communications with clients and employees, and alternative physical location of employees.
Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as only the building in which our firm is located, the business district where our firm is located, or the city / region where the firm is located. Within each of these areas, the severity of the disruption can also vary from minimal to severe. In the event that a business disruption was to occur in any of these areas, we have a plan that will allow us to continue operations as quickly as possible.
